Facilities at PHS have several projects on the horizon. We are about to begin this summer with the modernization of the Cafeteria dining room. Also the new Special Education building is to begin construction. We also are going to have at least four new portable classrooms added.
The Cafeteria dining room is going to have new flooring, ceiling, lighting, paint and doors. If funding allows, we will look into putting in A/C and re-vamp the lobby restrooms.
This project is in progress and will be finished this school year.
We are adding portable classrooms for the addition of 200 students next school year. We are looking at locating them on the west side of classrooms 515, 516, 517 and 518 .
In addition, the bleachers in the Big Gym are going to be re-surfaced and the A/C in the Library is going to be replaced this summer.
